Description

The cartridges of the STERYL series are made out of PP and mechanically (not organically) filter via the absolute filtering specific properties present in PP (degree of absolute filtration of 0.5 micron).

The filtering surface of these cartridges is extremely porous, consisting of tiny holes that are able to catch the finest solid particles, including various types of relatively big bacteria (when compared, for instance, to many molecules).

Therefore, it is important to note that this antibacterial action is possible due to these tiny (0.5 micron) pores that act as barriers! How often the cartridges must be changed depends on the usage, however it is advisable not to use the cartridge for more than 12 months.

Three versions of the antibacterial cartridges are available:

FRA-STERYL
absolute filtration of 99% 0,5 micron

FRA-CA STERYL
absolute filtration of 99% 0,5 micron + granular post activated carbon

FRA-UF STERYL
absolute filtration of 99% 0,5 micron + hollow fibre ultrafiltration 0.2 micron
